What a cute picture book! It’s funny and thought provoking at the same time. It was a big hit with my preschoolers. .
Steve was raised by wolves and has trouble fitting into school because of his wolf-like behaviors. Steve feels sad and dejected about this until he accidentally figures out how to play to his strengths. With underlying messages of self love, of embracing yourself fully with all your quirks as opposed to pretending to be someone you’re not in an attempt to fit in, of figuring out how to play to your strengths, etc, this book is a winner. The concept of a boy who was raised by wolves, I think, is quite interesting to the little ones. The pictures are all quite engaging too.
