A white sky with glimpses of blue.
A cool, gentle breeze.
A dirt path lined with thorny bushes.
Four pairs of feet walking together along that mud path, picking leaves, rocks, twigs and blades of grass.
Dried leaves crunching under those feet.
Chirpy birds and equally chirpy kids.
A mindful presence.
Four deeply connected souls.
We are nature. Nature is us.
Most often, we don’t fully absorb the beauty of a moment until it becomes a memory. Reminiscing a late afternoon hike in the woods with my children from this past weekend. We picked up quite a few treasures that we plan to use in our ‘nature project’. We came up with a few interesting ideas about the said ‘nature project’. Life is good!
“Joy comes to us in ordinary moments. We risk missing out when we get too busy chasing down the extraordinary”. ~Brene Brown
