Hercule Poirot’s Christmas by Agatha Christie…

Just finished my first book in 2019. Agatha Christie’s Hercules Poirot’s Christmas was a quick, fun read that made me feel nostalgic about my college days, when I was a huge fan of mystery novels. I love the Hercule Poirot series and often pick these books up as comfort reads when I am tired or not feeling well . Such a great start to 2019! I have a couple of middle grade books lined up to buddy read with my daughter next. I am excited! It’s always fun to connect with my adolescent daughter via books. .

I have read a lot more books last year (a total of 87 excluding the children’s books that I read to my children) than I ever did in my life. It’s not just books that I read to myself, but also the middle grade books that I buddy read along with my daughter and the picture books that I read aloud to my twin boys. I know for sure that creating this account last year contributed significantly to this. Looking forward to experience more of last year’s reading magic this year too!
