I have been starting my days by reading a few pages of ‘Embers, One Ojibway’s Meditations,’ written by Richard Wagamese, for a few days now. I read a few pages and sit quietly reflecting on the beautiful words of wisdom that I just read. It has become my morning meditation sort of. And every morning, this simple ritual that took me about 15 mins or so, filled me with gratitude and inspired me to set a positive intent for the day ahead. It was an amazing way to start my days. I cannot say enough good things about this book. Richard Wagamese writes beautifully and his words are not just beautiful, they are also filled with wisdom. I read about his personal story online and it is sad but also inspiring. He seems like someone who hit the rock bottom in his life, bounced back from there and soared high later on. His writing definitely reflects all the wisdom he gained from this life altering experience. I love this book so much that I have decided to buy more copies to gift them to my friends and family.
