“I’m grateful for always this moment, the now, no matter what form it takes.” -Eckhart Tolle
This phase of my life is often chaotic, overwhelming, exhausting and isolating but it is also filled with a deeper sense of purpose, fulfillment and joy that cannot sufficiently be expressed in words. Nothing tugs at my heart deeper than a nice warm cuddle, an innocent look, a big belly laugh or a random act of cuteness from one of my kids. I am grateful for my present. This thanksgiving, I am renewing my promise to myself that I will do my best to embrace it all and continue to cultivate an attitude of gratitude every day.
Two of these rocks were painted by my four year olds. It is easy to tell which ones they are. I find much deeper joy in those serene moments that I spend with my kids creating something together. So precious!
