Julia Donaldson is another children’s book author that I highly recommend. These three books written by her are amazing! We have also read a couple of other books written by her – The Snail and the Whale, The Giant Jumparee and The Smartest Giant in Town – all great read aloud’s. With rhyming words, simple stories and engaging illustrations, all of her books that we read so far have been a big hit with my boys. Room on the Broom and The Gruffalo Series are so popular with them that I bought our own copies of them. The titles of all her books are also so engaging for the little ones!
