We have been enjoying these books by William Steig. Sylvester and the Magic pebble is currently our most favorite among these. We are also enjoying Wizzle Witch and Dr DeSoto, also by William Steig. I am not sure how much of these stories my four year olds are actually able to comprehend but they keep asking me to reread them and I am enjoying them as well, so I am going with it.
