Flowers with plastic bottles…

Flowers with plastic bottles – my creative fix for this week. I had collected too many plastic bottles in my box of treasures (recyclable materials). I cut up the bottoms and stored them along with the bottle caps. I was going to have the kids paint these flowers but I happened to have a few quiet moments to myself yesterday and I couldn’t resist trying this out by myself. I used straws for the stems. I also used acrylic paints to paint the flowers. The flowers could have used another coat of paint to even things out but I didn’t have much time. I also didn’t have many colors left at home so I used up what I had. Just a quick and easy craft to fill my bucket and connect with myself ❤️ I look forward to doing this again with my kids. The bottoms can also be used as stamps with younger kids.
