Abiyoyo: A storybook based on a South African folk tale…

Abiyoyo is a giant who eats cows and sheep. The villagers are scared of him. When a father and son are ostracized and banished from their village because the son won’t stop playing ukulele and the father won’t stop performing magic, they happen to see Abiyoyo on the outskirts of the village. The son tricks the giant into falling down and the father uses his magic to make Abiyoyo disappear as soon as he falls down. This earns them acceptance from the villagers.

This story is based on a South African folk tale and lullaby. My kids (including my 10 year old) and I love this book ❤️
